Sam's referring to the time that Black Betty spirited him off to meet Zandra. See, he DID write a note!
By the way, you may notice that I've been refining the site somewhat. This is Zebra Girl's home now, and it ought to be at its best. I'll plan to add missing pages, like the Cast sheet, and Fan Art, but for now I'll direct your attention to the grey buttons above which will lead you to Zebra Girl's Top Web Comics voting page, the Facebook site, the Patreon page, the comic's RSS feed, my Twitter page just for crazy 'cuz, and Ask Zandra. I've also removed the link to the 910CMX forum, which had been overwhelmed by spam and put out of its misery. Anyhow, the current comment system is more popular than that forum ever was. I think we'll do just fine without it.
This is real news, by the way. Not fake stuff like from that guy in Macedonia. Guaranteed.
oh neat, rollover effect, maybe with that we'll break the top100, gotta admit I'm getting discouraged, I recall it hitting the bottom of the top100 a few years ago when I was voting daily from 2 computers, it would just take two or three people bookmarking the voting page and daily dosing it to get us back there...
Also, the comic, why do I suspect that may be a fake Crystal?
The subtle hint of fang in the seventh panel might be another clue. ^.^;
Given the claws on the person who caught the vampire's falling foot, I think that someone just found out that even monsters have monsters.
Girl: Hi, lady, whatcha got? Did you find a lucky rabbit's foot? I heard there's rabbits everywhere! I even met a monster rabbit!
Monster Woman with Three Feet (one of them not her own): Nooo, I don't think so. Not from a rabbit, anyway. Aren't you a bit young to be out of bed? Tell ya what, kid, I'll walk ya back home. You hide under the blankets, and I'll hide under the bed. That way we'll both feel safer.
Thinking whacked out again. The girl's parents aren't likely to be okay with their daughter having a real monster under her bed. Said youngster would have to keep Monster Lady a secret. That would be like a sixties sit-com overlapping The Twilight Zone.
Did I miss something somewhere? Who's Jewish in this comic? Usually I remember stuff like that.
Jack and Crystal were raised Jewish, actually. It's not a huge part of their lives, so it seldom comes up.
...I am not sure Crystall is fully there right now.
What are the chances they got intercepted and brainwashed/sugested on a bit?
I'm pretty sure that's Crystal most of the time.
We cannot see Crystal's hands- but I am sure Jack can-- so wouldn't he notice if she were an impostor vamp?
If that's a fake Crystal, I'd say it's more likely Black Betty than a vampire.

"Oh. You were serious?" "Why wouldn't I be?"
...because you are Jack the Plaid, coiner of the term "magicasm?" Master of 1000 totally justified incinerations? He who was punnished?
XD
Okay, so it is her, I was wrong.
Unless that Wally is also a fake! DUN DUN DUUUN!
something something voting top100
