Or there's the Theravada/Buddhist answer: No one else has divine answers; it's totally up to you to take care of yourself by living a heedful, skillful life.
The only divine truths being four of them; life is stress/suffering, 2 because we cling to things through anger or attraction. 3 we can cut down on stress by cutting out stressors. 4. to do that use heedfulness through investigation of all things combined with boundless friendliness and mindful equanimity/avoiding friends and people who only heap on more stress.
This is all observable to work in the daily here and now by the wise.
Boom! there you go, Sandra, all the basic divine truths you'll ever need.
