I think that if you have a webcomic that goes on for a certain length of time, at some point it is mandated that you do a "It was only [in-comic time] ago, but it feels like it was [real-world time] instead" lampshade joke.

This is more strongly mandated for comics that take a year to play out a night's activities, but it works in this case too. Especially since we are about to hit an in-comic time jump. (Oh, spoilers, sorry.)

I wonder, what is it's source?
