I’ve never had a character with more than two eyes, so if I ever make one, I think I will forget to make her extra eye or eyes emote with the other ones until I draw her enough times that it becomes habit.

Oh, it's hard to forget. Drawing extra eyes is a deviation from the standard, so they naturally tend to inspire a tiny bit of extra care and attention.
