Cool so the moving castle that Bloo have created start to show signs of how it can easily implode...
It's hard for someone who pretty much personifies chaos to build anything that will last very long.
Can Zandra spit on her chains and dissolve them? Can't she be long gone by now and leave the dependent vampires to turn on Bloo?
They wear Made by a guy that Imprisoned Gods. That being said..Yes I suspect she can be free anytime she chooses, Even Boo said it. But then she will fight and kill those she wants to protect and rule.
And she wants to be Optimus Prime not Megatron..
In the current comics, Optimus Prime just annexed Earth and is suffering from paranoia. Now's not a good time to model yourself after heroes.
Oh yeah, and Megatron has recognized just how sheer raw BAD of a person he was, has repented, and is now purposefully crippling himself and locking his access to his fusion cannon so he can't hurt anyone.
Seriously?!?
Somewhere in the Hasbro Continuity, Discord is swearing up and down that he had NOTHING to do with this.
No, he'd actually be running in fear and going "That universe has *issues* and wouldn't be fun to mess with. Get it away from me, it's icky and has a strange Old Hobo Man smell to it. I'm going to go let Celestia turn me into a statue again to hide."
Sounds like a long way of saying "I'm bored. I wanna have fun now."
Anyone ever tell you your crosshatching and texture work is gorgeous? Because your crosshatching and texture work is gorgeous.
I mean, eventually you take things for granted.
But yeah, it's really amazing, and it's good to mention it every once in a while.
Yeah, again what the others said. It's rare as hen's teeth to see anyone do honest crosshatch like this. It's a stand out aspect of the whole comic.
Joe, why are you front-loading all this exposition in medium that is otherwise supposed to be visually stimulating? If a character just tells the audience something, they're not going to actually feel it. They'll get the information, but they won't feel anything. In almost all movies, you don't really care about the characters before after the mid point. So some dude we don't know just started telling me a lot of back story by way of this dialogue. This all feels forced, unnecessary, and unmotivated. Show; don't tell.
In principle, sure, but I felt like this worked. This exposition isn't out of nowhere - a lot of it's been hinted at before. And as for it being a visual medium, there's a lot going on here with the hands and the eyes.
Good comics creators can do conversations for *pages*. Joe's good. This worked. And besides, it looks to be over for now anyway.
Just for the hell of it, I tried getting onto the Zebra Girl forum (again). It's not letting me post. But this time it's telling me my account name, password, and email do not match existing accounts. (AKA, it's telling me my account doesn't exist!) I know this is a load of bull because my browser has an account name and password SAVED for that website! That forum seriously needs new/better management. :\
Yeah, the server crashed and everyone had to re-register. I did too. It looks like the old forum and the browser gives it the old passwords, but it's actually a whole new setup.
Well that explains it. Though it might have been nice if they had a giant notification on the top of the pages, "Due to the server issues you will need to remake your account if you have not already done so!"
Aww dammit, Im caught up. I want more, MOOOOOORE. I didn't realize you continued zebragirl till I decided to reread it.
I don't know if it is relevant, but I noticed that the bad-guy uniforms appear to have an owl on the sleeve, a bird that stays up all night. Is this symbolic of Boo wanting to stop the 'dreaming' supplied by Zandra?
Nah, it's really just Mike wearing his favorite shirt too much.
Well, it's easy to get in a rut when you're (un)dead.
Like they say, the only difference between a rut and a grave is the dimensions.
I'm excited to see what Mike's game is. This seems a little one dimensional to me so far, he's got to have another plot behind this.
I noticed in this comic that Bloo's hands look close to normal....no elongated black nastiness. I wonder if that has to do with her reminiscencing about being human.
I've just realized that what's-his-name stands out from the crowd of misfit monsters, in large part, because he's so bland. So... uniform.
Even as a vampire.
