Here's a little bit of news... Ben Fleuter, author of The Sword Interval, has given Jen Stone a small cameo in the background of his comic! Can you find her? Oh, that takes me back. It's been a long time since we've been treated to a cameo over here!
By the way, there's going to be more news next week. I'm going to have something new to sell! Several somethings, actually. Man, it's been a long time coming...
I love how her smile keeps turning to " Yes yes....get closer my dear..I just need your life, the keys to my chains and all that you own..."
I've said it before, but I freakin' love this comic.
She doesn't need to break out. Because some of these vamps are just gonna realize they like her better, and she knows it.
Is it the Hunter with their back turned, sitting at the counter? Machete and green vest? The hair looks about right.
Jen is the lady in whit at the end of the bar.
Reported his to the Webcomic Crossover and Cameo Archives.
Also listed to other cameos from another webcomic. Probably more there.
Thanks for mentioning the Crossover Archives. I had no idea that was even a thing.
Aw, Zandra. You give such swell advice. You're not manipulative at all, is you? Not even a bit.
I really honestly hope she's not being manipulative here.
The suspense it killing me! What's Zandra's game? Why isn't she worried? I can't wait to find out!
Becouse I suspect she can just snap her chains anytime she wants .. But if she did she have to kill them all. And she wants loyalty. So she playing helpless till they need her. In the meantime she letting them have freedom of choice. A bit Like God's supposed to be doing.
She *might* have to kill them all. She will definitely have to kill Bloo and Mike, as a show of power and an example of what happens to monsters who don't follow her rules or respect her authority as the "zoo-keeper".
-- But if she decides to wait it out and hope for a regime shift among the town monsters, a lot of innocent beings will end up hurt. It's really not so much a choice, so much as Zandra will have to accept what she's going to have to do.
bloo Maybe Mike most certainly.. Bloo just angry and want to be free. Mike Mikes Dangerous..
I think she can have some control over them. After all, they carry her name on every link, marking them as belonging to her.
I think she can get out if she really wants, but what she wants is for the monsters in her care to be able to make their own decisions.
I think that whether or not she can escape on her own isn't terribly relevant at this point. Her best play is something else.
Yes, let them be their own Bad Cop. You're the Good Cop. 7@=e
She truly is the queen of the monsters, isn't she? Even in chains, she's calm, collected, and has the grace to be comforting and forgiving to a subject who--let's face it--has chosen the WRONG side in this little coup d'état. God DAMN, I love Zandra!!
She's not locked up with them. They're locked in with her...
I LOVE how Sandra's time in the 'imaginary' world has matured her and apparently given her perspective on both being human and a monster. She seems rather poignantly sympathetic with her little monster "flock."
I guess I should remember to use her new name, Zandra. But damn, it's clear there's still a lot of Sandra left in there.
