What she really meant is that it could work to her advantage that the local news has such affable hosts.
Except for those morning show fools... they're like chewing on a tinfoil-wrapped sugar cube.
I find interesting how it makes it look like Zandra is the most solid thing on the page. The vampires, on the other hand, are barely there.
I think that a dark truth. I think she needed the Night of terror to create Atmosphere as Lady Bloofer puts it. Belief magick. That the other Magic creatures are barely hanging on barely real. That she needs Humanity to Except them back..Except they're "REAL".
"affable"
I looked up that word. A new english word learned. Thank you.
Zandra's giving off the air of competence you only really get from an evil queen.
Gotta be careful, there is the slight chance that Becky might actually develop a crush on Mike after talking with him.
"Oh, could one of you fetch me my laptop? I need to update my Tumblr."
I've been following this comic for like 10 years at least and I just wanted you to know that I recommend it to everyone I meet who shows even a grain of interest in comics and graphic novels. I hope you know that you have lots of devoted fans who support what you do! I've bought books 1 and 2 and I'm about to buy 3. Keep on keepin' on Joe.
Hey, thanks Spider! I really appreciate your efforts, and that you appreciate my efforts! Everybody's efforts are appreciated! I'll have a copy of Volume 3 kept nice and toasty for you.
That third panel is absolutely killer. Even wrapped in chains she looks so powerful.
Yep, those vampires have Zandra exactly where she want's to be!
I get the distinct feeling Lady Blooper Right. That She can get up and walk away from those Chains anytime she likes!
Hey folks, let's vote on the webcomics toplist button every day, let's get this baby onto the top 10 like it deserves!
Is Zandra awesome enough to quell a coup without even lifting a finger?
What they're saying is "Exciting!"
What they're thinking is "Holy shit my kids go to school there! Are they even still alive? First I do once my day is over is transfer them to another town. Wait, that might not be far enough. Maybe they could go live with mom?"
holy shit, the shipping is *triple* the cost of the book itself???
Hi, longtime fan - since Keenspot days; occasional supporter - from the old "Joe Does a Thing" donations box days; one-time fanfic writer, and buyer of the first book in its previous format... Would now very much like to get books two and three, as I just discovered you've apparently gone into publishing overdrive since I last checked back (I didn't lose interest, I just discovered the comic read much better in bigger chunks), but eeeeeek the postage is truly prohibitive! That'd use up my entire comics budget for two months!
Should probably add, I'm in Germany. But I buy books from the US fairly regularly and the shipping is not usually anywhere near the cost of the shipping for the Zebra Girl books would be. o.O
That said, I am absolutely thrilled to see there is a lot of new stuff for me to read here, and will dig in as soon as the current stretch of 60-hour work weeks is over!
New site looks great, too!
Thanks, Hmpf! Glad to hear from you. I'll try to have the fan fiction back up eventually!
And I'm sorry about the shipping costs on the books. It just seemed to go up over time, and I had to increase the price to make a profit.
In any case, I'm glad you like the current site... it's a work in progress!
