Welcome back to the attic, Tomie. You might recall that this is something of a trigger for her. Unfortunately, you might also recall that the house has seemingly developed a mutant healing factor, at least where that window is concerned. Talk about a perfect storm.... Let's hope this all works out somehow!
Ouch.
Oooooooooooouuuuch.
aghhh no it's like trying not to think of an elephant
paper cuts in the eyes
noooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Heh. Paper cut to the eyes! The horror!
Give Tomie a vial of lemon juice, blessed by a priest, with silver powder dissolved in it, and she'll be a nightmare which makes the nightmares wake in a cold sweat.
I should Add I cut my eye once.. Was told it hurts more than childbirth.. Becouse of a medical issue I have a Extremely high pain threshold but it still made me pass out and throw up. It Lasted 6 months..
I'm stealing that for my D&D group, one of who is a werewolf kinda like Wally... For him to get this drink delivered at the bar... hehehehehe
Looks like Tomie is having flashbacks to her years forgotten in the attic.
At least I hope it's that, rather than one of the main cast getting sliced open and buttered like a baked potato.
Between a repairing window and an infinite hallway to get lost in. T_T
Hi guys, I accidentally bought two copies of Volume 4: Sandra in the Outlands, and I thought it'd be cool to offer it to someone who was a fan but didn't have the funds. I'm in the US, so domestic shipping for a book is pretty low but international is painful, keep that in mind. But first person to reply to this with their email who is willing to paypal me the shipping fee (based on USPS rates) can have the book. I talked this over with Joe who is fine with it.
Hit me up on Skype, I'll take it if just to have it...
Skype name is Sassilraxius
Hm, she's not talking. I don't know if it's because she's not supposed to be heard by the rest of the cast, or if she's incapable of talking without Jack near her. Or it's just coincidence. :P
It was recently pointed out to me that she doesn't have a voice. Same rules apply to her now as applied to her when she was a book: only Jack can hear her.

Zandra doesn't know Tomie-- I wonder if they will meet. A silent woman, clearly lost, seemingly harmless and out of her depth, wandering a vampire nest... I bet Zandra will feel a need to protect this strange "idiot".
And yet, at the same time, by way of association, that "set people on fire" instinct of hers will be itching the back of her consciousness without her understanding why.
Actually, I wonder if sufficiently powerful, other supernatural beings will be able to hear her. Beings like Zandra...
The pain in Tomie's expression... This has got to be the most painful cliffhanger in a while. Ouch, the empathy...
Even though she doesn't have a voice, I'm picturing Tomie as making the same sound Cheza made in Wolf's Rain when she screamed. I wasn't able to find any YouTube clips of it, so just basically picture a horrifying and piercing echo that is so shrill only the ears of a dog or wolf could hear it.
Welcome back, back to the attic,
In through the window with sleek acrobatics,
I have an unsettling, wriggling feeling,
That this story's about to get quite adiabatic.
Question is, is it just coincidence that the window healed, or does the house want her to stay for some reason?
I think the house heals ANY damage and we've seen it heal this specific window before.
Attic Angst. Noun. The specific kind of feeling only felt by tomie for being stuck alone in a pointy houses attic.
You're just going to have to go out the front d… Oh. Right.
Wow, I feel bad for that vampire if he's permanently blinded. He seemed like an alright guy.
He is working for the Bloofer. Wich is not a nice person. The Bloofer that is about to drop Crystal from really high up and otherwise kill all of Tomies friends.
Even if he did not want to use force, he is still bad by everyone he helps.
When you consider that vampires are shown to have trouble connecting to their empathy but are still capable of it (like Rebecca) and that this guy in particular wasn't looking to harm anyone, I think it's alright to feel sorry for him. He may associate with Bloo, but he also was buds with Walter. I don't think it's as black and white as all that and I don't feel he deserves to be blinded.
I was wondering about Tomie's combat capabilities, does she have more standard magic attacks? Not that slicing eyeballs inst cool.
Also I try not to draw to much attention to it,but Tomie is lookin fine.

Now: When the window healed, was Tomie inside or outside?
You did foreshadow this when she mentioned her fear of being abandoned again... I just hope, given that you're brining things toward an end, she won't have to make/be that sacrifice.
