If you're just joining us, Zandra thinks it's enough. Bloo disagrees.
Nothing more frustrating being told what you need Bloo... so uh maybe don't do it?
Bloo has a very wacked-out definition of "love" if you ask me.
Makes sense though since all the vampires aren't the same beings as they were when they were human. They are addicts to pleasure without realizing that ain't love or hate.
"You know how I got these scars, Zandra?" "No, but I know how you got these..."
My guess?
Murder.
Bloo wants this to go to the end. No reconciling, no coming to terms, no compromise. If she wins, she wins; if she loses, she still wins, because she went out in a blaze of glory instead of shuffling on as a drugged-out flower child forty years out of her time.
I agree, Bloo wants it to be a death match, just look at her talks with her sire. She hates that she is stuck in a permanent high, unable to come down. She wants it to end, one way or another.
I don't think she seriously believed she could win at any point, perhaps she wants to make Zandra step up and become the monster she could be, by killing her and getting rid of that last vestige of humanity (as if humans were bad at killing). I mean just look at what she said as dawn was breaking, she was essentially saying Zandra would have to punish her while she was defenseless and no matter what she did she would lose face in front of the vampires.
That kinda backfired too though. I'm guessing Bloo will continue to try and get killed until Boris steps up to the plate and grants her wish. What Zandra is doing now isn't going to finish her off after all (just look at the vampire stuck impaled in the tree).
We've seen that vampires in this setting swallow people to turn them, somehow. Turning people is also a strong urge, like the human urge to reproduce by natural means.
I'm far from sure, but I'd guess Bloo wants to turn Zanda, making her a vampire but more importantly making her subservient to her new master Bloo according to the nature of vampire parent and child relationships.
However, we haven't exactly witnessed that yet. Two more seriously, who says a Zebragirl demon queen can be turned into a vampire like this? So either I've missed the mark and/or Bloo's a nutter.
But anyway, it's an act of 'love' in the sense that for Bloo it's an act of 'lovemaking' vampire-style, though a forced act of 'lovemaking'. So it's not love at all, but in her twisted mind it is.
The subservience part is questionable, given that Bloo herself has just a few strips ago defied her own sire. Also, I don't know whether turning works on demons...
I'm pretty sure Bloo is a nutter irrespective of anything else.
That is a lot of inside that seem to be going out...
Meanwhile, Black Betty has discovered peanut butter. She hasn't figured out that you're supposed to eat it yet, but she's having fun.
Always wondered if someday Zandra would use the back horns like she theorized in that one Ask Zandra column. Guess this answers it.
Foreshadowing or serendipity? The world may never know.
Oh, Bloo... She really wants that suicide by cop, doesn't she?
Bloo, I'm starting to think you have no idea what "love" means.
Probably not. But in her mind, she wants the constant high and endless awakeness to end, and Zandra would throw away that last vestige of humanity by intentionally killing her.
Resulting in her wish being granted, and Zandra reaching her "full potential". So in Bloos eyes. "Love".
It's a nice detail that everything (so far) is completely bloodless.
'Zandra thinks it's enough. Bloo disagrees.'
Why don't they put it up to a vote? The 'eyes' have it. Bloo is outvoted 3 to 2.
What a lovely shade of spleen you have, Bloo. Too bad it's now way off over there.
...wouldn't surprise me if she had some explosives in there.
...Those ARE Chalklike cuts there. Aside from that though, I appreciate the reminder of what Bloo said when she attempted to murder Crystal. Her "act(s) of love" really show just how incredibly warped she is.
I'm pretty sure Mr. Chalk never had a bubble butt though...
I WANNA KNOW WHAT LOVE IS
AND I WANT YOU TO SHOW ME...
this seems pretty anti-climatic I suppose given that bloo was more of a chess player this is okay, Im kinda hoping that either bloo pulls out an ace or Zandra stomps her quickly either way I prefer a nice tidy wrap up.
It's strange when mystical creatures without lips make sounds that normally require a closed mouth, like "b" and "m". Is that supernatural speech that doesn't require air like when objects speak, or was Bloo previously a ventriloquist?
I'm well aware of that trope, so I made sure to avoid it. Only her cheeks were sliced open. Her lips are mostly intact.
You need cheeks to make sounds like that too. Try talking while holding a corner of your mouth open. "M" and "B" both come out more like "W". Fortunately, we have seen that she has multiple sets of teeth that act independently, so who knows how far down the extra mouths go.
She sadly Right Sandra Never Killed.. She Does Need this. She Needs to be Blooded..
If she is 'undead' can Bloo be killed or just terminated?
I'm still rooting for bonfires.
People sure have a lot of opinions about what "should" happen or what "needs" to happen. I kinda feel like Joe's the only one who gets to make that choice, the rest of us are just along for the ride.
Trust me... as a writer, we all love the speculation and ideas of how a story is going to end. That's part of the thrill of the story.
Criticism and disagreement is enjoyable for any writer who isn't a narcissist... but silence... silence hurts.
It's people who shut down the conversation that steal all the joy out of the creative process.

Tananari's got the right idea, I welcome input of all kinds.
Looks like Sandra finally killed somebody.
Ten bucks says that, in the Bloofer lady's mind, that means she wins. She wants Sandra to go full monster, and she finally got it.
All the while during this dramatic confrontation, Jack is quietly hoping for a wardrobe malfunction
I'm trying to figure out in what sense Bloo could be right. She dropped Crystal and said that was an act of love. Directly, it was an act of destruction, indirectly it reconciled Crystal and Zandra and set Zandra free (or vis versa). Just how smart is Bloo? How many steps ahead does she plan? What does she know that we don't know? I see the speculation about trying to get Zandra to go full monster. That would be the direct and obvious consequence of getting Zandra to kill. Maybe there is something else going on. Who am I kidding, of course there is.
I think.... what's going on is Bloo only knows of semi-omniscient, quasi-ompnipotent Zandra, the one enforcing her will and her own arbitrary 'objective morality' upon others, just like 'The Man'. Zandra Needs to be brought down low, to be humbled. Bloo has no idea that Zandra's already been there, done that, got the stripy T-shirt.
