"What's up? Doc...?"
I bet you think you're clever. :D
Wait, what?
ALL rabbits? That's quite the brood. :o Or is it more of a religion at that point?
As long as Sam doesn't have to be a martyr for this one, I'll allow it.
I guess Mary being potentially in the family way gave Sam another reason to be gun shy in the final confrontation.
The way Wally is drawn in the first panel makes him look like he was vibrating a little in reaction to Zandra's touch, dunno if that's intentional.
Well I certainly know *I* would be. For multiple reasons.
Man, this is bitter sweet, knowing it's almost over. Thanks for the ride man.
Also, if this all doesn't end on April 1st with one last April fools transformation I'll be severely disappointed.
That last panel seems like it's very much "another story."
Won't Sam's brood become terribly inbred, with him and Mary as sole ancestors?
Well, they're about to get a lot of adopted brothers and sisters.
Rabbits apparently carry their whole genome in every individual, so no.
I have no idea what you mean. There's no way a single pair of rabbits can carry enough genetic diversity for a whole population. How would that even work?
Not if Rabbits and Bunnies suddenly become sentient all over the planet. (Would they ALL do so, or just some? Seems like that might put a hole in the ecosphere/food chain of a lot of species? Also, the Earth is already pretty well-populated... and Rabbits, well...)?
Sentientized Rabbits aside, there's always the chance one of Sam's kids might want to explore a little crazy, with Betty... And who knows what other mythic Rabbit characters might emerge? I'd LOVE it if Bugs showed up...
So, we've got "birth of a new race" covered...
I'm still looking forward to the "boobage expansion" explanation. It's a development you've been... nursing along, shall we say? ... for awhile now... (ducks) :D
All the lines~!
A mansion of stripes!
Man, you are both diligent and a masochist to draw that...
I hope there is a poster for sale with that kind of lines, after this is all done, to remember Zebra Girl on my room wall.
Rabbits Standing on their toes. Black Betty will be delighted.
... "the chain maker" ...?
You didn't call him Mud, like in Ask Zandra?
No, I figured that she would figure that Wally wouldn't know who she meant. Besides, it keeps things simple for folks who might not have been following Ask Zandra.
How somehow excruciatingly appropriate that Easter (BUNNIES!) and April Fools' day fall on the same day this year.
No, really.
I'm serious - this isn't an Internet joke.
It's true. (Assuming Gregorian calendars and Catholic calculations, which you may not)
Fun details: http://5ko.free.fr/en/easter.php
BTW - speaking of all your lovely lines.
I exhort and implore you to release a black-and-white collection of some of your best and most intricate pages - to be used as a Zebragirl Coloring Book. Maybe incentivize it with a mini-story on a few of the pages? Available only (at least at first) by buying the book? This could be much shorter than trying to publish a whole run of the story, and would be a reason to have a physical dead-tree version to buy, in addition to the online-available comics (COLORING!). I know that the art is intended to be greyscale, but I can't be the ONLY person looking at all those curly, twisty, elaborate lines, and been dying to get out the 50-color pack of sharpies and/or colored pencils?
Hey, we're talking KICKSTARTER material here, bub! (i'm only half kidding). Idea from me to you, totally gratis LOL.
Actually. Now I SERIOUSLY want a Zebragirl coloring book...
Seriously, do it. I'd buy it!
A way to add something to the artist coffers without requiring a huge-get-out-of-control project or much new stuff?
Some ideas: I understand that there are services which handle the print-and-mailing for Kickstarters now. Or Lulu press, or maybe cafe press do the printing, mailing, money collection for you? For those services, the profit is probably a bit lower, but they are essentially turnkey - upload the graphic files and then... You just decide how much over their cost you want to charge. Your profit is higher if you want to arrange more of it yourself, but then it's also more hassle.
Strange...I think we have Schrodinger's Rabbit....
He's both alive and he's died....8-P
Things seem to be wrapping up quite quickly, so who is Mr. Chalk? And what's that chain thingie Zandra wears on her pants?
Pants chains are a fairly common accessory. In this case, it enables Zandra to keep wearing a halo after ditching her old belly shirt. It's kind of a trademark.
"One of three eves." S/Zandra is a mother of a new age. Mary is a mother of a new species. I'm not entirely sure who the third is or was beside Viv.
