Even outfits can change! Though it seems like we've seen something similar somewhere before. Clearly just a coincidence. And if you think it looks tremendously impractical, just remember it's magic and stuff!
Heck, even her vampire helpers followed Rebecca's example and changed their clothes. And good for them. Those old rags were getting ratty.
Ah, and just so we're clear, this isn't the final page! I know it has a "final page" vibe, but it's not. So we'll still have a little bit of time to get used to the silly dress.

Lovely comic, this the final page? I hope not... But it likely is. Best of luck Joe in your next project, whatever it may be.
I'm not going to lie, I am suppressing a giggle about the dress. You've managed to outdo yourself. It's not just impractical, it's hilariously, god-awfully impractical! I think we'll stop complaining about the suspicious voluptuousness once everyone gets a good look at this dreadful nonsense.
Oh yes, I know. That was exactly the point, of course! It's a perfect distraction from all the other dreadful nonsense.
I hope the dress is purple in color.
It would match with her eyes and remind her about what let her find herself again.
Yes, the parts that aren't black or white are indeed purple, just like her eyes and hair.
So... she flies while wearing that? Even a stiff breeze would cause a scandal in monster-town.
Did Betty make the dress for her?
Context clues from the previous page make me think Crystal made the dress.
When you get to the final 'final' page, you need to ask Zandra what Berkeley Breathed asked Opus at the end of his strip. "Where do you want to spend eternity?"

Oh good there's more. I Dom't have to go into full blown mourning yet.
Interesting... The officer is in the back, away from everyone else, and frowning.
By the way? So very, very gaudy. I don't think my lack of fashion sense mixes well with Crystal's design sensibilities.
I wouldn't say she's really frowning, more perplexed at how that dress is actually functioning.
In no uncertain terms! Any more approval and we'll see a failure in what little wardrobe she's wearing! Not that this is necessarily a Bad Thing... ;-)
Reminds me a bit of Titinia mixed with Hel.
At last she is getting some much needed support! ;p
Gorgeous.
Almost done, a few things to dust off, some chairs to put on the tables, sweeping up.
This has been a fun ride Joe, can't wait to see how you bring it to a close. =)
I'd like the dress a lot better if it were full length in the front like the one she wore in the pointed house bit, but it is delightfully absurd, impractical and so, so very crystal. Betty's glee is quite delightful, though.
Aw, Crystal and Wally look so happy! Is Crystal growing her hair out?
Good lord.
Betty seems on-board with it, at least. Though Zandra herself seems conflicted.
Haven't noticed that before but I'm loving how Wally has his hands closed like paws as he embraces Crystal.
That dress is like something an ANIME demon queen would wear. I wholeheartedly approve!
I can't not see Betty's curly tongue as one of those little roll-up paper party horns. It's perfect! XD
I like to think the officer is frowning because the back is where they hide the gravity control module that makes the dress work. It's tiny, but it's a steampunk/dieselpunk/cthulhuoid fusion that any officer of the law would feel the need to keep an eye on.
Silly question, but....
Will we ever find out who exactly Mr Chalk is?
Very nice page!
And I see that Crystal is letting her hair grow out to restore her natural hair color, meaning she's stopped dying it. A subtle but lovely indication of how she's happy again and feels at peace with regard to Sandra and their relationship.
